    Jazzmin (she/her) is a multimedia consultant and human rights education researcher. She works with educational nonprofit organizations on human rights and social justice projects, as well as consults educational institutions on visual presentations and publication formatting. Jazzmin is a doctoral student in International and Multicultural Education with a concentration in Human Rights Education at the University of San Francisco. She is a co-managing editor of the International Journal of Human Rights Education and represents Northern California with the national human rights education network, HRE USA.

  • Noah Morton

    Born and raised in Harlem, Noah Morton (he/him) received the Gates Millennium Scholarship to study at Amherst College. During his time in college, Noah studied abroad and worked in various countries around the world. He wrote a collection of stories, essays and poems from the travels, A Moment Elsewhere Vol II. After graduation, Noah served with Peace Corps in Morocco, where he worked with teachers on out-of-school educational programs. Inspired to learn more about liberatory education, he earned his MPhil in International Education at University of Cambridge. He continues the journey in the education doctorate program University of San Francisco.

  • Janise “Jay” Powell

    Janise “Jay” (she/her) is a storyteller and education advocate. Utilizing skills in personal development, spoken word, and stories she creates events, workshops, and programs that allow people to share their stories through various platforms for personal and professional development, to learn from others, collectively heal, and to grow together. Currently Janise is a doctoral student at the University of San Francisco’s International and Multicultural Education program. She also works as a Region Manager for EDMO where she focuses on staff training, equity building, and social emotional learning.

  • Paul David Terry

    A savage, queer ginger weaver, Paul David Terry (he/they) disrupts the civility of knowledge production by unsettling the settler colonial mindset. Rhizomatically flowing through the undercommons of oppressive binaries, Paul thrupples human rights, critical and transformative leadership and social justice to advance a more just world.

    Paul is the assistant director of programs and affinity networks at UC Davis and serves as the alumni diversity lead for the UC Office of the President. He earned his BA from UC Davis, masters from the University of San Francisco and is a doctoral student in the International and Multicultural Education Program at the University of San Francisco, with an emphasis in human rights and racial justice education. An IME Fellow, Paul’s research focuses on long-term cultural competency adoption using human rights praxis in large-scale organizations and integrating racial justice education in healthcare.
